Seshego Benefit Consulting (SBC) specialises in providing support and assistance to Principal Officers, trustees and their fund members. SBC focuses purely on rendering consulting services in the form of fully outsourced Principal Officer services or the provision of support to part time or full time Principal Officers.

Established in 2005 by a team of specialist retirement fund consultants with many years of industry experience. One of the company's founding principles was the recognized need for independent assistance and advice.

Our clients are based in Johannesburg, Tshwane/Pretoria, Kwa-Zulu Natal, the Cape Provinces and Namibia.

Morné Olivier

Managing Director
Morné graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1994 with a BCom Honours, specializing in Econometrics. He started his career in employee benefits in 1995 and has gained experience in senior executive and consulting roles across retirement funds. He is a Certified Financial Planner®. Morné is a previous Managing Director of Alexander Forbes Namibia, and has held various senior management positions within Alexander Forbes and Glenrand MIB. His current positions include Managing Director of Seshego Benefit Consulting (Pty) Ltd; Principal Officer of several retirement funds; and Director of Elite Consulting Namibia (Pty) Ltd.

Andrew Crawford

Director
Andrew graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 1991 and has a BCom Honours, specializing in both Finance and Insurance. He is a Certified Financial Planner® with over 25 years retirement fund consulting experience. Andrew is a previous Managing Director of the Alexander Forbes Retirement Funds Division (at which time he was a board member of the Alexander Forbes Group (Pty) Ltd), CEO of Glenrand MIB Benefit Services (at which time he sat on the Glenrand MIB Group Exco) and was director of the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF). His current positions include CEO of Seshego Benefit Consulting (Pty) Ltd, trustee of various intervivos trusts, principal officer of several retirement funds, director of Seshego Africa Ltd (Seychelles), director of Balcarres Services (Pty) Ltd and director of Balcarres Lodge (Pty) Ltd.

Zeenat Badsha

Director
Zeenat graduated from Stellenbosch University in 2007 with a BComm Honours Business Management (cum laude) and from UNISA in 2016 with a LLB (cum laude). She started her career in employee benefits in 2008. She is a Certified Financial Planner®. Her current positions include Principal Officer of a multinational retirement fund and Principal Consultant on selected retirement funds.

Robert Taylor

Director
Rob has over 23 years of experience in the financial services sector (employee benefits consulting industry), which has enabled him to build an extensive corporate executive network, via a strong reputation for excellence, passion and delivery to be the best. His experience has been gained in many of the top corporate consulting organisations in South Africa, with more than 12 of those years at senior executive/director level. He created and co-founded the only Level 1 B-BBEE consulting organisation.
